“I had a fantastic (major) birthday celebration here with old friends. Lovely, tastefully decorated, self-contained converted apartments spread around a quiet sunny courtyard - perfect for a secluded breakfast. The imposing house forms a perfect backdrop to the grounds, which are great for the children - there's even a hideaway den in the woods. The location means it manages to feel secluded and green, but be a short drive to town and lovely beaches like Westward Ho! Hosts Harvey and Helen, who live in the house, made sure we had everything we needed yet gave us complete privacy. A truly unique place.”
